What we collect when you visit this site or talk to us about Linivo, why we collect it, and the choices you have. This policy does not cover the network telemetry a Linivo account collects from your infrastructure. That data is governed by your organization's Data Processing Agreement, not this page.
This policy explains how Linivo ("Linivo," "we," "us") handles personal data collected through linivo.net, our documentation site, and the waiting-list and contact forms on them. It's written for visitors, prospects, and the people who use those pages, not for the network monitoring and detection platform itself, which has its own data-handling terms under each customer's agreement.
Linivo is a fictional product used for demonstration purposes on this site, and this policy is placeholder content, not a legal document in force for any real service.
This policy covers three groups of people, and treats them differently:
It does not cover the monitoring or detection data a deployed Linivo sensor gathers about your network: device inventory, flow and log telemetry, security detections, configuration backups, or credentials. That data belongs to the customer, and Linivo processes it solely as instructed under the customer's agreement, as a data processor rather than a controller.
Because Linivo sensors run inside your network and poll your devices directly, the telemetry and detections they generate never need to pass through this website or its forms, and this policy doesn't govern them. In particular:

We rely on your consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies), our legitimate interest in running a functioning business site (for analytics and security logs), and contractual necessity (for reviewing and responding to a waiting-list request you submitted) as the legal bases for this processing.

We share personal data only with the service providers that help us run this site and our business, under contracts that limit them to our instructions:
We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose data where required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights and safety of Linivo or others.
We keep waiting-list and other lead data for as long as it's useful for that purpose, and delete it if a lead has gone cold for an extended period. Account and billing data is kept for the life of a subscription plus the period required for tax and audit records. You can ask us to delete your data earlier at any time, subject to what we're legally required to retain. See Contact us.
Personal data collected through this site is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3 and at rest with AES-256, the same standard we hold the platform itself to. Where you have a choice of hosting region for your Linivo account, that choice applies to your monitoring and detection data; contact and billing records tied to the account follow the same regional handling by default.
Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent for marketing at any time. To exercise any of these, reach out using the details below; we'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Our service providers may process data outside your home country. Where that involves a transfer out of the EU/EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses to keep it protected to the same standard.
This site is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
