Data center smoke detection is usually its own certified fire-suppression system, not something Linivo replaces. Here's the right way to bring its alerts in as a signal, not a controller.
Never wire Linivo into anything that could suppress or delay an actual fire-suppression system's own logic. The goal here is purely to get a copy of the alarm state into your monitoring timeline, not to mediate it.
Many building fire panels can drive a dry-contact relay into a generic environmental sensor's input, which then reports over that sensor's existing SNMP agent; others support a direct webhook or BMS integration, which is often the cleaner path if available.
Unlike almost every other alert type in Linivo, a fire-detection signal should never be silenced by a maintenance window; configure it, if the option exists, to bypass scheduled suppression entirely.
